This is a Letter from Jose A. Sordo, of the Union Athletica de Amateurs de Cuba, to Leslie Mann, the executive secretary and treasurer of the International Amateur Baseball Federation, dated October 29, 1938. It is Letter #2 of six numbered letters concerning the hosting of the 1939 John Moores Cup Series, also known as the World's Amateur Baseball Championship. The letters may have been reproduced and included in a mailing, as this is not the original. This letter says that Cuba will sponsor the series and that the games will be played in Havana.
