This is Letter from Jaime Marine, the Director General of Sports for Cuba, to Leslie Mann, the executive secretary and treasurer of the International Amateur Baseball Federation, dated January 17, 1939. It is Letter #6 of six numbered letters concerning the hosting of the 1939 John Moores Cup Series, also known as the World's Amateur Baseball Championship. The letters may have been reproduced and included in a mailing, as this is not the original. This letter is the official acceptance by Cuba to host the 1939 John Moores Cup. It calls for articles of agreement for the signing of the final agreement and looks forward to the event.
