Letter to Leslie Mann from Jose A. Sordo (November 25, 1938)

This is a Letter from Jose A. Sordo, of the Union Athletica de Amateurs de Cuba, to Leslie Mann, the executive secretary and treasurer of the International Amateur Baseball Federation, dated November 25, 1938. It is Letter #4 of six numbered letters concerning the hosting of the 1939 John Moores Cup Series, also known as the World's Amateur Baseball Championship. The letters may have been reproduced and included in a mailing, as this is not the original. This letter answers the letter from Leslie Mann, dated November 4, 1938. In the letter, Sordo says they have approved Mann's suggestions to the dividing of the funds to pay the fees. The only problem that he sees is the sanction fee, as they few this as a risk as it comes upfront before the event. Most of the letter speaks to their reasoning for not following this and what they may due about this blockage.
