This is a Letter to Jose A. Sordo, of the Union Athletica de Amateurs de Cuba, from Leslie Mann, the executive secretary and treasurer of the International Amateur Baseball Federation (IABF), dated November 4, 1938. It is Letter #3 of six numbered letters concerning the hosting of the 1939 John Moores Cup Series, also known as the World's Amateur Baseball Championship. The letters may have been reproduced and included in a mailing, as this is not the original. This letter response to the letter dated October 29, 1938 from Jose Sordo who says that they agree to host the 1939 John Moores Cup. In the letter Leslie Mann talks about the benefit to the host nation and asks for a small fee to be given to the IABF and that they divide up the gross gate between the teams, host country and the IABF.
