This photograph was taken on April 6, 1970, and shows two Springfield Massachusetts Police Department vehicles entering a parking garage. The one closest to the camera is a police truck with lettering that states "Springfield Police Department." The furthest one is smaller in size with lettering on the side that is unclear and "Police" on its backside. It is believed that this photograph was used in Springfield Union newspaper articles on the Administration Building takeover by student protestors. Handwritten on the back is "S.C. ". Handwritten on the back is "S.C."; Technician who created metadata for this item decided that the last letter in the photographer's surname is "R." For confirmation see page 2.;
