A photograph taken on March 11, 1970 showing a door leading to a courtroom with a security guard or police officer standing next to the door. The lettering at the top of the door states "2" and "Court Room." It is believed that this photograph was used in Springfield Union newspaper articles on the court proceedings for the Black students involved in the Springfield College Massasoit Hall takeover. On the back is written "S.C. Massasoit Hall." Also on the back, the date was originally stamped "Mar 12, 1970," but the 12 was scratched out and replaced with the 11th. Technician who created metadata for this item decided that the photographer's middle initial was a "G". For confirmation see page 2.; Handwritten on the back is "S.C. Massasoit Hall";
