A photograph taken on March 11, 1970 showing a group of Black student protestors involved in the Massasoit Hall takeover, leaving a courtroom with officers standing next to the door (two on the right and one on the left). The lettering at the top of the door states "2" and "Court Room." It is believed that this photograph was used in Springfield Union newspaper articles on the court proceedings for the Black students involved in the Springfield College Massasoit Hall takeover. On the back is written "S.C. Massasoit Hall." Also on the back, the date was originally stamped "Mar 12, 1970," but the 12 was scratched out and replaced with what is believed to be an 14. Handwritten on the back is "S.C Massasoit Hall";
