This is an unsigned, typed copy of the certification of Zhou Yixian, a couch from China, completion of 15 week Special Coaching Program in Basketball at Springfield College. The document is dated February 7, 1980 and is signed by Dr. Frank Fu, at the time the International Student Adviser at Springfield College. Zhou Yixian was one of the first Chinese visitors after the Cultural Revolution in China to come to Springfield College. These were three coaches: Yunpeng Chen, Gongcheng Chen, and Yixian Zhou, and they came from the All-China Sport Federation, People’s Republic of China, to train in Springfield College via the operation of National Committee on United State-China Relations on November 1978.
