This is a handwritten letter from Zhou Yixian, a visiting Chinese Coach to Springfield College, to a Mr. and Mrs. Bigelow. The letter is undated but is thought to have been sent in 1981. In the letter, she mentions a photograph that reminded her of her stay in their house. Zhou Yixian was one of the first Chinese visitors after the Cultural Revolution in China to come to Springfield College. These were three coaches: Yunpeng Chen, Gongcheng Chen, and Yixian Zhou, and they came from the All-China Sport Federation, People’s Republic of China, to train in Springfield College via the operation of National Committee on United State-China Relations on November 1978.
