This is the cover of the admissions file or student file of Wilbert Carey, a Springfield College (then known as YMCA Training School) alumnus. The cover indicates Day's name and address. It shows that Day was accepted to the school in April, 1890. Carey began working in YMCA facilities in 1891 and, from this, decided to attend the YMCA Training School in Springfield, Massachusetts. After graduating in 1892, he worked as General Secretary at the YMCA facility in South Bend, Indiana until 1898. From 1899 to 1903, Carey worked as General Secretary at the YMCA in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. After leaving this position, he worked from 1904 until 1912 as the General Secretary at the YMCA in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He died June 16, 1940.
