This video shows the opening remarks given by Springfield College alumna and faculty member Dr. Mimi Murray and SC faculty member Dr. Carol Mitchell for the screening of the film "Olympia" by Leni Riefenstahl. The film documented the 1936 Olympics. According to the flyer of the event, it took place on March 3, 2008. In the video, Dr. Mitchell introduced Dr. Murray and talked about "Insights into Riefenstahl's Cinematic Achievement". Dr. Murray talked about the relationship between the Nazi Olympics and Springfield College. This event was part of the Humanics Series "Our Great Adventure in Education: The Whole Story", originated by Dr. Murray during her tenure as the Distinguished Humanics Professor at Springfield College for 2007-2008.
