This lecture was delivered by Springfield College alumnus Jeff Blatnick (Class of 1979) and hosted by SC alumna and faculty member Dr. Mimi Murray. Blatnick shared his life stories in the lecture. The lecture was part of the event entitled "Springfield College and the Olympics" which was held on November 7, 2007 and the event was part of a series that Dr. Mimi Murray put on when she was Springfield College's Distinguished Professor of Humanics in 2007-2008. Blatnick (July 26, 1957 – October 24, 2012) was an American super heavyweight Greco-Roman wrestler and sports commentator who graduated from Springfield College in 1979. He won two NCAA Division II heavyweight wrestling championships, as well as an Olympic gold medal in Greco-Roman wrestling after battling back from cancer. On the DVD which record this lecture, it says "Springfield College and the Olympics November 7, 2007 Jeff Blatnick0".
