Third DGWS Gymnastics Championships Program (April 1971)
Description:
This is the third DGWS National Intercollegiate Gymnastic Championships for Women, held April 9-10, 1971 at Pennsylvania State University. The program includes information about administrative personnel, judges, a listing of all the competitors in events (with handwritten scores next to the names), a listing of the schools that participated with their coaches, a scheduling of events, and listings of the results of the first two championships. There are photographs of some of the participants and the the two teams from the 1970 championships, which Springfield College placed second behind Southern Illinois University.
