Karpovich scrapbook and was titled "The Hellwean Gaug." It was taken during a Halloween party held on October 31, 1949. Karpovich is wearing a a plaid shirt and tie, and a hat with a type of face statue on top of it. Josephine Rathbone, his wife, is sitting on the end to the right. It was taken in 1949.
