1976 Peter V. Karpovich Lecture: Dr. David B. Dill
Description:
A two-part video of the 1976 Karpovich Lecture given by Dr. David B. Dill at Springfield College. The lecture was captured on two videotapes that together work out to be around 50 minutes long. The first one was about 32 minutes long and featured an introduction, a brief synopsis of Dr. Karpovich's, who had recently passed away, impact, and statement from Josephine Rathbone, Dr. Karpovich's wife, before Dr. David B. Dill began speaking. The second video is almost 20 minutes and features the conclusion of the lecture by Dr. Dill. The sound quality is very poor. The content on this video was not known until the video was digitized. It was unmarked and no indication of its content was given. Since it was found with the videos of Josephine Rathebone's stresss/relaxation class when collection was processed and arranged, the video was left with these videos believing it may belong with these materials. The original file name given to the videos were ms529-01-13-001 & 002. After identification, it has been decided to put these videos in their own folder and the files have been renamed ms529-01-14-001-01 and 001-02.
