The picture features 33 men outside taking a break from grading work being performed on the campus of the International YMCA Training School (now Springfield College) in November 1898. Most of the workers are wearing a hat, and have a cup in their hand. Some of the men hold a pitcher, shovel, or a pick. Originally part of a collection of 9 black and white photographs all mounted on frameboard given to the college by Harland Vaughan (Class of 1900) and Richard L. Wittig (Class of 1900);
