Four of the men are pushing a wheel barrel, and about two feet wide boards are laid down to make pushing the wheel barrel easier. There are trees and housing on the background. Written on the back of the photograph is "Nov, 1898"; Originally part of a collection of 9 black and white photographs all mounted on frameboard given to the college by Harland Vaughan (Class of 1900) and Richard L. Wittig (Class of 1900);
