This is a notebook containing the meeting minutes for the Springfield College (at the time known as the International YMCA Training School) Class of 1892. The meeting minutes are hand-written and cover the time that the Class was at the school, from their arrival in Sept. 1890 through their graduation in June 1892. Minutes include information on prayer meetings, the formation of committees, class officers, and commenencement preparations. The Class of 1892 was special in that many of the men who first played the game of basketball, created by James Naismith in 1891, were part of this class. Only pages with writing were scanned. The backs of pages, except the backs of the front and back cover, were not scanned. Also, many blank pages at the end of the notebook were not scanned.
