After Springfield College, he went to the Ohio Dominican University, becoming the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Planning from 1978 to 1980. From there he went to Slippery Rock University where he would spend the rest of his career. From 1980 to 1986, he was Director of Admissions, and from 1986 to his retirement in 2017,he held the following positions: Director of Enrollment Management, Executive Director of Academic Records & Retention, and Executive Director of Academic Records, Graduate Studies and Summer School.
