This portrait photograph shows Daryl Arroyo, the Springfield College head wrestling coach from 1991 to 2011. In the photograph, Arroyo is wearing a Springfield College Golf Classic shirt and a pair of glasses. He is smiling at the camera. Arroyo attended and wrestled for Springfield College, and was a Division II All-American his senior year. He graduated from Springfield with a Bachelor of Science in Health Fitness in 1984. He then served as an assistant wrestling coach at California State University, Fullerton for three years where he received his Master's Degree in Physical Education. Later, Arroyo earned his PhD degree in Sport Psychology at the University of Connecticut. At Springfield, he coached for 21 seasons, and ended his career with 301 wins, 160 losses and 6 ties, for a .651 winning percentage. He was named Coach of the Year in 1991, 1997, 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2011. On the back of the photograph, a lable says "Springfield College Wrestling Head Coach Daryl Arroyo".
