This video shows the annual Springfield College Distinguished Professor of Humanics Lecture delivered by Springfield College alumna and faculty member Dr. Mimi Murray in 2008. Before the lecture, Springfield College's twelfth president Richard Flynn gave a short speech on Humanics. The lecture was coordinated by Springfield College Provost and Vice President Jean Wyld. She introduced past Distinguished Professor of Humanics who were present that day, including Dr. Henry Paar, Dr. Edward Sims, Dr. Ted Dunn, Dr. Jean Ross, professor Herb Zettl, Dr. Diane Potter, Dr. Joel Cohen, Dr. Janice Eldridge, Dr. Martin Dosick, Dr. Elizabeth Evans, professor Joel Dearing, Dr. Peter Polito, Dr. Delight Champagne, Dr. Frank Torre, Dr. Bern Graney, professor Dottie Zenaty, professor Charles Redmond, and professor Ron Maggio.
