This photograph shows two Springfield College students using lab respiration equipment. One student is golfing with a respiratory mask over his face, while the other student is behind him holding the large air bag or bladder. The lab activity was part of Peter V. Karpovich's physiology lab experiments. To the left can just be made out the old Springfield College Student Union or what was once Doggett's House and the Luther Halsey Gulick house.
