Description:
This photograph was taken on May 9, 1970, and shows a group of seven female students sitting in a circle on a grassy area. It is believed that this photograph was used in Springfield Union newspaper articles about campus protests occurring during that time. Handwritten on the back is "SPFLD COLLEGE DEM." Also, on the back, the date was originally stamped "May 8, 1970," but the 8 was scratched out and replaced with the 9th. Handwritten on the back is "SPFLD COLLEGE DEM.";
