This photograph was taken on March 12, 1970, and shows Black students leaving Springfield College's Massasoit Hall after a two-day sit-in, with raised fists amongst a crowd. Handwritten on the back are "S.C Massasoit Hall" and "SC. students." Also on the back, the date was originally stamped "Mar 12, 1970," but the 12 was scratched out and replaced with the 11th. Handwritten on the back is “S.C.”;
