Description:
This is a two-page letter written by Mr. & Mrs. Herbert M. Samuel, parents to David M. Samuel (class of 1973), to Wilbert E. Locklin, President of Springfield College dated March 23, 1970. Also attached was Mr. Samuel's business card as Vice-President of Chock Full O' Nuts. In the letter he expresses his views of how the Black student rights protestors were treated by the school, and, in particular, his views towards the Dean of Students, John J. Costello. He cc'd in the NAACP and the General Counsel of the ACLU.
