This is a 16 page dcoument of a memo with attached documentation written by Edward Bilik to Springfield College President Randolph Bromery. It is dated March 24, 1997. The document talks about the Mascot - Nickname controversy on campus. Bilik includes written materials supporting the use of "Pride" as the nickname, including quotes taken from important sports figures and pride as seen through newspaper article headlines.
