A Letter from the Springfield College Alumni Council to the president, Randolph Bromery. The letter is dated April 14, 1995. The letter is signed by Robert Hoffman, Angelo Correale, and Barbara Meyers. It concerns the mascot/nickname changes that had recently been decided by the college and had been revealed to the most recent Triangle Magazine. The Alumni Council asked that a vote of the whole college community and that alternatives including the old nickname, "Chiefs", and new nickname, "Pride" be given. For more information on Robert B.
