New York Times article from September 7, 1907 regarding Reverend Dr. Frank L. Goodspeed's letter of resignation to the First Congregational Church of Springfield, Massachisetts. Dr. Goodspeed's church, at that time, was one of the largest and wealthiest of the denomination in Massachusetts. Dr. Goodspeed's reason for resigning was that he "does not care to continue the work of the church single-handed.". There is no master file for this document because it is a photocopy.
