" Dear Mrs. Renfroe, Greetings from Fort Worth. I hope that your throat is better now and you can resume your singing lessons. I found my old student here and he of all things engaged for me a suit of two rooms worth insisting that I should be his guest. What could I do? I accepted. Give my regards to Sheriff Gallaway and his aid and also to Myrtle. Sincerely, P.V.K."; the postcard does not contain a stamp and appears to have never been sent.
