A letter written by Calvin J. Martin, Alumni director at Springfield College, to Arthur Dome, regarding Earl Taraldsen. Mr. Martin shows some biographic information and how he has helped the college over the years. Earl Taraldsen is a graduate of Springfield College in 1922. Earl Taraldsen's entire professional career was dedicated to the YMCA. Over the years he has coached most sports, especially gymnastics, and has served as a judge and official for schools and YMCAs. Most of his career was with the New York City YMCA. He served the Grand Central Railroad YMCA Branch for 28 years as Physical Director and later as Executive. He was awarded the Tarbell Medallion Award in 1972.
