This document was published by Springfield College on February 10, 1948. It says that the office of President Paul Moyer Limbert (1897-1998), Springfield College’s sixth president, received word of Alberto Regina’s death. The document briefly mentions his family, YMCA work, and affiliation with Springfield College. Alberto Regina was born on August 3, 1900 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He graduated from the College of the South American YMCA in 1924. Regina worked as a physical education director in Chile and Argentina, and as the technical advisor for the Argentine Federation of Sport. He also coached the Argentina water polo team in the 1928 Olympics. In 1930, Regina attended Springfield College for graduate study. He died from surgery complications on January 24, 1948.
