Letter from Richard Morse to brother, Oliver Morse, July 2, 1891
Description:
A letter written by Richard Morse, General Secretary of the International Committee of Young Men's Christian Associations, to his brother, Oliver Morse indicating that he will be unable to attend the Springfield College (then the International YMCA Training School) Trustee's meeting however is sending his vote in favor of Mr. Lee for the presidency. Morse closes his letter telling his brother that it was difficult to pass through Springfield on his way to and from Northfield without seeing him. The bottom of the letter includes a handwritten note which reads "McBurney, I am rejoiced to find, will go to the meeting Saturday".
