This handwritten note details the contents of the volume of information on the training courses & other involvement conducted during World War I by the International Young Men's Christian Association College, now Springfield College, in March of 1917-1918. The note says that this volume is incomplete, but there is a complete set of information in the volumes of College Publications kept by the librarians. This volume was dismantled and the individual pages were all digitized and are reflected in Series 4, Sub-series a of the RG104 Armed Forces Collection. This item was originally bound in a book titled “War-Work Courses in Great War, 1917-1918 Incomplete.” This volume was unbound and its contents foldered in the original order, which is chronological. The binding string was cut and the glue was removed with a razor blade. The edges are intact and the placement of stitches are visible. Each page or booklet was individually lifted out of the binding and placed in their own folder or a folder with like materials. Oversized materials were removed and placed in the oversized materials collection.;
