Description:
A two-page letter from Stanley R. Reid to Ralph L. Cheney, dated March 9th, 1918. In this letter, Reid tells Cheney that he enclosed the Sunday bulletin by the ARMY YMCA with the letter. He also shares news about the Y.54 being manned by a "Springfield man" and his general feelings of working. Lastly, he references two other Springfield College alumni that were still in the area. The second page of the letter is the bulletin, which includes information about religious services. Ralph L. Cheney served as the head of Springfield College’s Secretarial Department from 1907 to 1924. Before taking this position, he worked as a YMCA secretary in Albany and Niagara Falls, New York.
