Description:
A four-page letter from R. Wallace Peckham to Ralph L. Cheney, dated September 5th, 1918. In this letter, Peckham apologizes to Cheney for not answering the latter's letter to him previously. He then tells the professor about his recent experiences doing war work and included a story between him and a corporal in his camp. Ralph L. Cheney served as the head of Springfield College’s Secretarial Department from 1907 to 1924. Before taking this position, he worked as a YMCA secretary in Albany and Niagara Falls, New York.
