This photograph was taken on March 11, 1970, and shows several students leaving Massasoit Hall. There are two unidentified male students with their arms raised and holding a long cylindrical object in hand. It is believed that this photograph was used by Springfield newspapers reporting on the Black students' involvement in the Springfield College Massasoit Hall takeover. Handwritten on the back are "S.C Massasoit Hall" and "SC. students.". Handwritten on the back are "S.C Massasoit Hall" and "SC. students."; Also, on the back, the date was originally stamped "MAR 10, 1970," but the 10 was scratched out and replaced with the 11th.;
