This portrait shows John M. Wilson, the assistant dean of students and director of multicultural affairs at Springfield College. John M. Wilson was a part of the administrative team for 38 years beginning with assistant director of undergraduate admissions and coordinator of multicultural recruitment in 1976. He then became minority affairs coordinator in 1987 before becoming the director of multicultual affairs and assistant dean, positions he held until he passed away on February 13, 2015. Wilson received his Associates from Holyoke Community College in 1969, his Bachelors (1971) and Masters (1974) in Sociology from University of Massachusetts.
