A portrait photograph of Marjorie Bouve. Born in 1879, Marjorie Bouvé received a diploma from the Boston Normal School of Gymnastics and a BS in Education from Boston University. In 1925, Marjorie Bouve established the Bouve School, which in 1930 was consolidated with the Physical Education School to become the Bouve Boston School of Physical Education. Bouve was a director of the school until her retirement in 1946. Bouve died at the age of 90 in 1970.
