Clarkson, Springfield College Class of 1894, was born in Coatbridge, Scotland and moved to Merrick, Massachusetts as an adult. As a young adult he participated in the Iron Moulding business. He eventually became a doctor, practicing in Pawtucket, R.I. He died on March 17, 1933.
