  <mods:abstract>This application is for Thomas C. Clarkson from August 24, 1891 for The School for Christian Workers, now Springfield College. It states that this document is confidential information for the use of The Training School for Sunday School Workers and Pastors' Helpers. This application gives information about his previous education, athletic experience, future career aspirations. Thomas C. Clarkson, Springfield College Class of 1894, was born in Coatbridge, Scotland and moved to Merrick, Massachusetts as an adult. As a young adult he participated in the Iron Moulding business. He eventually became a doctor, practicing in Pawtucket, R.I. He died on March 17, 1933.</mods:abstract>
