This is a brochure created for the women's softball team at Springfield College. The brochure was created in anticipation of the 2011 season. The document describes some quick facts about the team and provides some information about the team's head coach Julie Perrelli. Along with this, the document gives a recap of the 2010 season. Finally, the brochure discusses the 2011 season with a preview summary and lists the scheduled games for the 2011 season. There are also three different players pictured in three separate photos throughout the brochure. The three are all captains for the team, and their names are Katie Anderson (2011), Amanda Novak (2011), and Mackenzie O'Dea (2012). The Springfield College women's softball team found large levels of success in both 2008 and 2009, as the team went on to win the NEWMAC tournament championship both of these years. The team made it to the finals of the tournament again in 2010 but failed to win. Julie Perrelli was the head coach, and in 2011 she will enter her second season with the team. Along with coaching, Perrelli was working as an assistant professor of physical education at Springfield College. The team went 23-18-1 in the 2010 softball season, and only lost three seniors after the season. Because of this, the team looks to remain very competitive this season. Some of their top players returning for the season are Kelly Blake (NEWMAC All-Conference First team), Stef Grande and Megan Fitzgerald (two of their best pitchers), and Amanda Novak (the team's best power hitter).
