A portrait photograph of Percy Millard Dawson. Percy Millard Dawson was born in 1873 in Canada. He earned his M.D. at Johns Hopkins University, then went to Harvard Divinity School and became a Unitarian minister, and joined the University of Wisconsin science faculty in 1913 as a physiologist. He wrote many works including "The Physiology of Physical Education for Physical Educators and Their Pupils".
