In the second row are George Murphy, Roger Geddes, Rolley Person, coach Edward Steitz, Lance Saidak, Hugh Mendez, Frank Palumbo, and Paul Giannuzzi. In the third row are Dave Rand, Tim Wood, Dick Maynard, Joe Lyon, Ray Jacobson, Don Perkins, and Mark Federman. During the 1955 season, the Springfield College freshman baseball team had a record of nine wins to two losses. The team was lead by coach Edward Steitz. For biographical information on Edward S.
