The photograph shows the members of the 1969-1970 Springfield College gymnastics team posing for a photo together. The students stand in two rows with their bodies turned inwards towards the middle except for two students standing in the direct middle of the photo who keep their bodies entirely straight while looking forward towards the camera. One of these students stands in the second row while the other student stands in the direct front of the photo in front of both rows of students. The five coaches of the team stand in a third back row behind all of the players, including Frank Wolcott, a former gymnast who became a coach for the team. Wolcott stands on the far right side in the back row. The remaining coaches and players in the photo have not been identified.
