A copy of a short article that most likely appeared in an American International College magazine or newspaper in 1977 on the death of Alumnus Theodore A. Wiel, Class of 1917. Dr. Wiel was also a professor at Springfield College. There is a portrait photograph of Wiel within the article. Dr. Theodore A. Wiel was born in Wiljandi, Estonia on March 2, 1893. During World War I, he served in France as a Sergeant in the field artillery. Wiel worked at American International College from 1932 until 1946, when he began teaching history and international relations at Springfield College. Based on Catalog listings, Dr. Wiel appears to have left Springfield College in 1960.
