A photograph of Dr. Peter V. Karpovich dressed up as a magician (wearing the white beard and large top hat), with his "magician" assistants. They are all dressed up in customes. The photograph comes out of a scrapbook created by Dr. Karpovich. The newspaper articles that are around it talked about how this was from a Magic "Seance" held by Dr. Karpovich in the basement of the Springfield College Library. Karpovich often used magic to arouse interest in the sciences and physical education. For more information on Peter V. Karpovich, see: https://springfield.as.atlas-sys.com/agents/people/571
