Description:
A two-page copy of a letter from William A. Wilkinson to Ernie, dated December 29th, 1916. In this letter, Wilkinson describes current happenings in the work he is doing and retells an incident where he got injured. He also expresses his gratitude toward the YMCA and the men of Springfield College. During World War I, Wilkinson fought with the the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers (an Irish infantry regiment of the British Army formed in 1881) and was killed in action at Ronssoy on March 21, 1918.
