State of Missouri House Resolution No. 52 congratulating the St. Louis University Basketball team for their National Invitational Basketball Tournament (NIT) Championship in 1949. The Resolution particularly congratulates Coach Ed Hickey and senior players, Ed McCauley, all American, Marv Scatzman and Joe Schmidt. The certificate was mailed to Joe Lyles on March 17, 1949 as a member of the team. The certificate is embossed in gold leaf with the Missouri House of Representatives Seal.
