This is a 16mm black and white film that shows numerous players for Springfield College hitting during a game. The note on the reel says May of 1962, so it is believed that the game takes place then. The film is about 8 minutes and 40 seconds long. A catcher catching the ball behind home plate is shown. There is also a large crowd of people sitting in the bleachers watching the game. Players and coaches can be seen looking on from the sidelines. At about the 6:30 mark in the film, it transitions to scenes the team warming up at the same stadium, most likely before the start of a game. The film shows these players practicing hitting. The film ends with a player making contact with the baseball and running to first base. Film technician notes: Slightly shrunken. Flash frames and flares.;
