Description:
A photograph depicting approximately 15 men building a sidewalk in front of Judd Gymnasium at Springfield College. Several workers are using a wheel barrel and utilizing a cement machine. There are three men observing the work. Part of the sidewalk is ready and drying, and lined with ropes. Between the workers and Judd Gymnasium are several tall pine trees, and behind the trees six men are passing by the working site. Written on the back of the picture: "158"; Part of a series of 9 items designated "Building Concrete Walkways on Campus: Gymnasium Students Lay Sidewalks in 1921" that were used in an exhibit created circa 2000;
